Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Scope of the policy and the products or services it covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses, training modules, live signal management workshops, content distribution services, professional video operation sessions, and related high-quality feed creation offerings provided by showtimeryx. It covers both one-time course access and recurring subscriptions for ongoing broadcasting and media feed support services targeted at news programs and television broadcasting professionals in the United Kingdom.

Prices, currencies, taxes, and any additional charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate is included where applicable for consumers. Additional charges may apply for premium live signal management add-ons, extended camera work consultations, or international content distribution licences. These are clearly shown at checkout before payment authorisation. No hidden fees are applied after purchase confirmation.

Accepted payment methods, payment authorisation, and payment security

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and approved digital wallets. Payment is authorised immediately upon order submission. All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant gateways to protect card details. showtimeryx does not store full payment card information.

Order, booking, or service confirmation and when a contract is formed

A contract is formed when you receive an email confirmation after successful payment. This confirmation details the specific course modules, live feed management access, or broadcasting services purchased. Access credentials or download links are provided within 24 hours of confirmation for digital content.

Cancellation rights and applicable cancellation periods

Under UK consumer law you have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel most contracts. For digital courses this period ends once you begin downloading or streaming the content. Subscriptions for ongoing media feed services can be cancelled at any time with effect from the next billing cycle.

Refund eligibility, exclusions, and non-refundable items or services

Refunds are available for unused digital courses within the 14-day cooling-off period if no substantial content has been accessed. Live signal management sessions already scheduled or partially delivered are non-refundable. Promotional or discounted bundles may have reduced refund eligibility as stated at purchase.

The step-by-step procedure and information required to request a refund

To request a refund contact us via the form on our Contacts page or email [email protected]. Provide your order number, full name, and reason for the request. We will acknowledge receipt within two working days and guide you through any additional verification steps required under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act.

Inspection, approval, rejection, and notification of the refund decision

Our team reviews each request within five working days. You will be notified by email whether the refund is approved or rejected, with clear reasons provided for any rejection. Approved refunds are processed without further action on your part.

Refund method, processing time, and when funds should reach the customer

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days, although bank transfer refunds may require up to fourteen days depending on your financial institution. You will receive confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

Special rules for digital content, subscriptions, services, or promotional offers where relevant

Digital courses on professional video operation and content distribution become non-refundable once streaming or download begins. Subscription services for live signal management may be paused rather than refunded mid-cycle. Promotional offers are subject to the same 14-day rules unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and suspected fraud

Failed payments will be notified immediately and you will have seven days to complete payment before the order is cancelled. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically within ten working days. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in immediate account suspension and reporting to relevant UK authorities while preserving your consumer rights.

Mandatory consumer rights in the target country that the policy cannot exclude

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
